Compared to manual slag removal, where the hands absorb a lot of vibration, the injuries of your employees have become non-existent. Also, no more fine dust is released and the purification of the metal is more comfortable and accessible for everyone.

This process is easy to automate with one of our VG machines below. By using pin brushes, the metal slag is beaten off and the product is then refined by a grinding belt or disc. With the magnetic table it is also possible to hold the smaller parts.

What is metal slag?

Metal slag is produced when metal is processed by oxy-fuel or plasma cutting. The molten metal that remains at the cutting edges is called metal slag. The large metal slag creates an irregularity in the workpiece and must therefore be removed. In practice, they are usually hammered off manually, which is very labour-intensive and therefore costly. The automation of this process is therefore a more economical solution and brings unprecedented value to many companies! An automated solution not only increases efficiency and speed on the workfloor, but also safety and comfort.
