Edge-first approach
Leonardo
- Edge rounding
- Laser oxide removal
- Deburring
The intelligent solution for targeted deburring and rounding of laser-cut sheet metal.
Combines edge-first precision and intelligent control with a generous 1500 mm working width.
Compact in size Big in performance
Thanks to the unique edge-first cross-belt aggregate with pressure pad, only the edges are stressed and the surface remains intact. Combined with the 4 oscillating top brushes, this ensures uniform rounding, even with complex inner contours.
Compact machine, large working width
With its 1500 mm working width, the Leonardo delivers exceptional capacity in a very compact machine. This helps you make the best use of every square metre of your workshop.
Cross-belt aggregate
Due to the unique principle of the cross belt with a pressure pad forming around the workpiece. As a result, pressure is focused on the edges and the flat surface is subjected to minimal stress. The cross-belt catches tolerances and distributes pressure evenly, giving you a predictable result even with variations in sheet thickness. For different applications, simply change to a different pressure pad hardness. Moreover, the belt wears evenly no matter where the piece is on the conveyor. The pressure is adjustable by 0.01 mm increments and, when not in use, the pad automatically parks, allowing the workpiece to pass unhindered and leaving the surface untouched.
The top brush system
The 4 oscillating top brush unit with four brushes in one row ensures uniform rounding of edges, including inner contours.
-
Pendulum stroke adjustable via HMI (full width or specific zones)
-
Self-calibration after brush change, no operator intervention required
Fixed feed height
Makes integration into production lines easy and allows smooth automation of material feeding and discharge.
