BIG.ON.SMALL.SHEET.
B.O.S.S.
- Edge rounding
- Laser oxide removal
- Deburring
General
The B.O.S.S has a working width of 150 mm and combines a grinding disc with two Top Brushes. The machine is specifically designed for small sheet-metal parts that are difficult to handle on larger systems. Thanks to its compact design, fixed pass-through height, and powerful vacuum or magnetic fixation, even the smallest components can be processed in a controlled, safe and highly precise manner.
Grinding disc
The first aggregate is a powerful grinding disc that removes vertical burrs effortlessly. Thanks to the intelligent pressure regulation, parts are pre-ground quickly and in a controlled manner, without unnecessary material removal.
The disc therefore forms the ideal pre-finishing step for the Top Brushes that follow.
Top Brushes
The two Top Brushes ensure a complete and homogeneous edge rounding.
One brush rotates clockwise and the other counterclockwise, allowing both outside contours and inside contours to be rounded consistently. The desired radius and the brush height are easy to adjust, and wear can be compensated quickly, ensuring a uniform rounding throughout the entire brush lifetime.
Conveyor belt
The belt is made from oil- and spark-resistant synthetic rubber that provides excellent grip. The combination of the belt material, vacuum support or a magnet plate, together with the high anti-slip value, makes the machine extremely suitable for series production of small parts, without unwanted shifting.
Fixed pass-through height
The pass-through height always remains the same, regardless of the material thickness. This makes it easy to connect roller tables, loading systems, or return systems. Thanks to this fixed height, the B.O.S.S can also be perfectly integrated in line with other machines, for example in an automated production line or in combination with robot loading.
Fixing small laser-cut parts
For small, light, or difficult-to-hold parts, the B.O.S.S offers two powerful fixation methods:
Vacuum support: suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This is the most universal method for securing small components.
Or
Magnet plate: highly effective for small steel parts, and ideal for the removal of oxide layer.
